Today’s codebreaker is Ray Francis. Ray was born in Butetown in 1919 Roy Francis and later moved to Brynmawr as a child where he was brought up by his parents Albert and Rebecca in a home near Well Street. He played for Brynmawr RFC as a teenager before heading north to Wigan in 1937 as a teenager.
