Community Group Awarded Lottery Funding

I am delighted that Next Gen Community Activists has been awarded funding by the The National Lottery Community Fund Wales to support BAME community activists to become leaders.

We know that we need to increase diversity in our workforce and in our public appointments across Wales. This Lottery funded project which will support 20 activists to become leaders, is exactly what we need to see more of to develop the pipeline of what I personally know is talent in the BAME community.

I am delighted to be a senior sponsor for the programme and I look forward to working with the team, the mentors and the participants.
