Launch of Penarth History Month

This weekend Penarth Tourism and Visitor Association will launch Penarth History Month – a month of events to celebrate the town’s heritage.
The month will begin with events at the Turner House Gallery on Friday 8th September, Saturday 9th September and Sunday 10th September.
On 16th September the Masonic Hall on Stanwell Road will be hosting an open day to celebrate their 300th anniversary.
There will be mini picture exhibitions throughout the month at Foxys Deli, Crepe Escape, Windosr Road shops and Washington Buildings.
On Saturday 30th the Penarth Railway Project will be hosting a walk on the old railway path.

I am looking forward to attending some of these really interesting events. For more information on what’s going on, have a look at https://www.penarthtowncouncil.gov.uk/whats-on/
